Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation 2014

Your email inbox deserves some respect, and the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) came into effect July 1, 2014 to protect you from unsolicited commercial electronic communication.

Because of your existing relationship with the University of Saskatchewan, and because our alumni are members of the Alumni Association, you will continue to receive messages from us. This implicit consent is outlined in the legislation, as we have been informed by our legal team.

Over the next several months, we're going to continue to improve our system to track your communication preferences, so expect to hear more in the future. Make sure you let us know if you got a new number with that cool new phone, cancelled your landline, moved or have a new email address.

If at any time you want to stop receiving certain types of electronic communication from us, just let us know. And if you miss any information and reconsider, let us know that too, and we'll start sending you that information again.

As always, your privacy is important to us and we protect your information. Read our privacy policy for more detail.
