100 Years. Millions of memories.
Hundreds of our alumni returned to the beautiful U of S campus for Alumni Weekend on May 19 & 20, 2017, the culmination of the Alumni Association Centennial.
Thank you for being part of such a special event at the U of S. We hope that the opportunity to reconnect, reminisce and rediscover during Alumni Weekend added to the infinite unforgettable moments you enjoyed as a student.
No matter how long ago you graduated, you are alumni for life. Thanks for coming back home!

Alumni Weekend highlights
Alumni Weekend offered so much to see and do. Here is a small sampling of what our graduates enjoyed during Alumni Weekend.
Much has changed at the U of S since the establishment of the Alumni Association over 100 years ago. Alumni got a chance to see first-hand what's new and rediscover what remains the same on campus with tours of the Canadian Light Source, Patterson Garden and the most beautiful campus in Canada.
Beyond These Greystone Walls: Highlights from Alumni Collections
University Library presented an exhibition showcasing archival and special collections from and about alumni in honour of the Alumni Association Centennial. Among the many impressive collections of some celebrated alumni on display was the Nobel medal presented to Henry Taube (BSc'35, MSc'37), the only Nobel laureate to graduate from the University of Saskatchewan, and the only Saskatchewan-born Nobel laureate.
Golden Grads Ceremony
Graduates from 1967 and earlier were honoured at a ceremony in Convocation Hall to recognize the many contributions and the golden anniversary of U of S graduates. Alumni celebrating 50 years (or more) since convocation were presented an honorary certificate to commemorate the milestone.
Talk with the U of S Space Design Team
The journey of learning never ends for U of S Alumni! The U of S Space Design Team shared its knowledge and experience on the topic of space design in an interesting talk showcasing their many projects, concepts and developments, including its Mars rover.
The Bowl was the destination for alumni (and future alumni) for the Alumni Weekend Family Carnival. The weather was perfect for carnival games, a BBQ, bouncy castle, face painting, balloon twisting and more! A carnival this much fun only happens once every 100 years!
Thank you to our volunteers!
Volunteering is an important part Saskatchewan's DNA and it was on full display at Alumni Weekend. A special thank you to our many volunteers who offered their time to help make Alumni Weekend a special event for our alumni returning to campus!
Thank you to our sponsors!
