Ms. Carrie Allen, BA'00 - Recipient of the 2007 Alumni Service Award presented in recognition of outstanding volunteer leadership and service to the University of Saskatchewan and/or the Alumni Association.

Carrie Allen obtained her B.A. in Archaeology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2000. She began her volunteer career with the Museum of Antiquites in the spring of 2001, creating original artworks to appear in the exhibit “Homer to Tolkien; Elements of Western Myth”.

To date, she has produced more than one hundred original and replica artworks, representing a diverse array of ancient cultures, to complement 7 major exhibits with the Museum of Antiquities and the Diefenbaker Canada Center. Carrie has since donated a number of these works to fundraising auctions in support of Saskatchewan charities.

She is also an accomplished medical and scientific illustrator. Her work complements the academic research of the medical and scientific professionals of the University of Saskatchewan and appears in publications as diverse as ‘Human Osteology and Skeletal Radiology: an Atlas and Guide’ and ‘Lethaia'
