Movie Premiere Featuring U of S Alumnus
Kim Coates (BA'91) will be in Saskatoon Friday, March 27, 2009, for the premiere of his new film "45 R.P.M."
By Derrick Kunz45 R.P.M. is about Parry, a young Saskatchewan teenager who, by a fluke atmospheric weather condition, hears a New York radio show promoting a new contest. Parry believes this may be his ticket out of town, and away from a life to which he feels he never belonged.
Coates is well known for his versatility as an actor, appearing in many stage, small screen and big screen productions. He has over 40 movies to his credit, including Hostage starring Bruce Willis and the award winning film Black Hawk Down.
The premiere is on Friday, March 27 at the Broadway Theatre (715 Broadway Avenue).
