2011 U of S Senate Election Results

University of Saskatchewan Senate elections were conducted for five member-at-large positions. Polls were open from May 16 through June 30, 2011.

University of Saskatchewan Senate elections were conducted for five member-at-large positions. Polls were open from May 16 through June 30, 2011. The following University of Saskatchewan alumni have been elected to serve a three-year term as members-at-large:
  • Joanna Alexander (BEd'58)
  • Joy Crawford (BComm'93)
  • Jordan Miller (BSc'06, MSC'10)
  • Peter Stroh (BA'70, BEd'75, MEd'85)
  • Joyce Wells (BEd'75)


Under the University of Saskatchewan Act (1995), Senate is responsible for recommendations regarding the establishment or disestablishment of any college, school, or department; appointing examiners for and making bylaws respecting the conduct of examinations for professional societies; the granting of honorary degrees, and non-academic student discipline.
