Donation from alumnus David Dubé and Heather Ryan puts more Huskie fans in the stands!

The expansion will add 1,174 new seats for fans on game nights. The new seating includes 880 premium stadium seats to expand 10 rows onto the top of sections 10, 11 and 12. The premium seats will add extra room for fans at 22" and 23" wide, have cup holders, as well as back and arm rests. Coloured in green and grey, the seats will also spell out Huskies. The seats will become the first stadium seats in a football park in Saskatchewan.

In addition to the premium seats, 294 bleacher seats will be added as an extension on to section nine. Section nine has been designated as the student zone.

"Huskie Athletics and the football program can't begin to thank David and Heather for their support, vision and dedication to us, our coaching staff and our athletes," said athletic director Basil Hughton. "David and Heather have helped Huskie Athletics grow to the next level and we appreciate everything they have done for us. These new seats will be an added bonus to our fans on game day."
Dube, Ryan and Concorde Group of Companies have been one of Huskie Athletics biggest supporters in recent years.

Their generosity includes "Duke" the bronze dog statue on the stadium steps, enhancements to game day experience including fireworks and the Concorde Kids Zone, equipment for the Clubhouse expansion and a commitment to Huskie Athletics as the lead partner.

"Heather and I are committed to Huskie football and making it the greatest game day experience in Canada," said Dube.

"By adding to the seats originally provided by PotashCorp Park for the Vanier Cup and adding premium stadium seats it will allow even more fans in our great community to come out and support the team and join us in making the stadium a competitive advantage for Huskie home games."

Construction on the new seating will begin shortly with completion expected for the Huskies Canada West season opener on September 2.
